About the Program
MeitY's revolutionary Gen-Next Support for Innovative Startups (GENESIS) program aims to fortify the startup environment in Tier-II and Tier-III cities. It combines pre-existing startup programs, provides focused capital for deep-tech and early-stage businesses, and aids incubators by enhancing their capabilities. GENESIS seeks to develop talent, encourage innovation, and establish a welcoming and sustainable ecosystem for ICT entrepreneurs in developing nations.
By providing resources and support, the GENESIS-EIR program assists entrepreneurs and students in validating their startup ideas and transforming them into successful businesses. AIC-RNTU Foundation offers unmatched resources, mentorship, and support as a program partner, providing the ideal setting for bringing your creative ideas to life.

Who Can Apply?
Applications are invited from:
- Indian citizens
- Early-stage innovators and entrepreneurs
- Founders/Co-founders of startups incorporated within the last 2 years
- Startups originating from or operating in Tier-II or Tier-III cities
- Entrepreneurs willing to undergo physical incubation
- Innovations at Ideation, Concept Validation, PoC, Prototype or Early MVP stage (TRL 1–4)
Applicants should not have previously received support under GENESIS EIR or overlapping MeitY schemes and should not have received more than ₹10 lakh of Government funding for the same idea.
